Dear friends and faithful,

It is with deep sorrow that I received the news of the passing of Pope Francis, a man who, with unprecedented humility, love and sincerity, dedicated his life to the service of God, people and the most vulnerable among us. His extraordinary approach to minorities, poor and marginalized communities, including the Roma people, will remain deeply rooted in our hearts.

Pope Francis was a beacon of hope for all who felt marginalized or forgotten. He tirelessly emphasized the dignity of every person, regardless of their origin, nationality or social status. The Roma community found in him a true friend, a man who not only listened but also acted. He showed the world that humanity, compassion and love have no boundaries.

His words of tolerance, unity and reconciliation will continue to inspire generations. And his actions – from a simple handshake to giant strides towards social justice – will remind us of what true faith in action means.

Thank you, Pope Francis, for all you have done for those who have often been overlooked. Thank you for your example of a true leader with humility. We will never forget your message of love and understanding.
