The Czechoslovak Roma Union would like to express its deep and heartfelt gratitude to CPI Hotels, and specifically to the Hotel Vladimír, for an exceptionally generous gesture, thanks to which we were able to carry out many significant and beneficial activities. The generous provision of free space allowed us to create a facility where we could work intensively with our volunteers for more than three years to help refugees from Ukraine who found themselves in difficult life situations. This space became not only a place for organizing aid, but also a place where people came together, supported each other and found new hope in difficult times.

Thanks to this selfless support, we were able to establish the Dolja group, which has become a solid and active part of our community. This group allowed us not only to coordinate our aid, but also to create new opportunities for refugees and for ourselves. One of the key projects we were able to implement was teaching Czech – an activity that is not only about learning the language, but also about overcoming barriers, building relationships and opening doors to new opportunities and better integration into Czech society. We organized regular courses in which both children and adults participated, and we were happy to follow their progress, successes and determination.

In addition to teaching the language, we managed to organize many other activities that were of great importance to the refugee community and to our organization. We organized various events for children, such as creative workshops, games and cultural programs, which helped them forget about difficulties and rediscover the joy of childhood. For adults, we organized activities aimed at promoting mental well-being, sharing experiences and mutual assistance. Each of these activities was proof of how important it is to have a space where people can meet and create something meaningful together.

These three years that we were able to spend in the premises of the Hotel Vladimír were truly an unforgettable period full of getting to know each other, building friendships and sharing joy. We created not only a safe environment for people in need, but also a space that was filled with laughter, creativity and hope. These were years when, thanks to your support, we were able to witness a huge number of human stories, difficult beginnings and amazing transformations, when people found a new direction and the courage to move forward.

Your help, dear Hotel Vladimír and the CPI Hotels team, had and still has a huge impact on the lives of many people. It was not just about providing a physical space – your support was a symbol of solidarity, humanity and faith that together we can change the world for the better. Thanks to you, we were able to give many people a chance for a new beginning, a better future and a feeling that they are not alone. Your help came at a time when it was needed most, and its meaning cannot be adequately expressed in words.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being an important part of our journey. Thank you for your generosity, trust and support, which helped us overcome obstacles and realize our mission. Your help not only allowed us to help where it was needed, but also inspired us to never stop believing in the meaning of our work.
